Methodist Services for Children and Families (MSCF) offers parenting education and support through the Parenting Education Collaborative. This supportive program is designed to be an interactive discussion for a small group that focuses on learning specific parenting skills. Groups are facilitated by a master¡¯s level social worker who leads participants through exercises and discussions on better communication strategies, health and safety, education awareness, behavior modification, discipline techniques and various parenting models.
Participation in the groups is open to all clients of Methodist Services for Children and Families and Methodist Family Services of Philadelphia as well as other residents in the community. Meetings are held at community locations, although enrollment is limited.
