Before school care
Do you leave for work in the mornings before your child leaves for school? Then drop her off at our early morning, before school program. We make sure she is well cared for until she arrives safely at school.
In before school care, your child will
receive a light breakfast, wake-up activities and a van ride
to school.
After school care
Just because your child is having
fun doesn't mean he can't be learning and growing too! At
MSCF's school-age day care program, your child's physical,
mental and social skills are developed through a variety
of stimulating and engaging activities such as sports,
recreation, the arts, and theater.
Transportation
Van
transportation is provided from some area schools. In some circumstances, school district or private transportation has been arranged by parents.
Great Facilities
MSCF's twenty-one beautiful acres make a variety of indoor and outdoor activities available to your child. Out campus consists of several playgrounds, athletic fields, volleyball and basketball courts, and shady, comfortable places to play.
The campus' Main Building is the
focal point of the school-age day care program. It houses the
library, computer lab, gymnasium, recreation rooms, and arts
and crafts center. When the weather becomes too cold to be
outdoors, your child will have plenty of indoor activities
available.
Afternoon Snack
A nutritious snack is
provided shortly after your child's arrival. Your child
will often participate in preparing and serving the snack.
Homework Help
Preparing children for
next day of school is an
important part of our program. Conducted by
certified teachers, our Homework Help component
provides a daily time for your child to do
his school assignments. Homework Help is
provided to groups of children at similar learning levels.
Educational Extras
To
further enhance learning, our staff
encourages your child to participate in fun, educational
activities using computers and our library, and by
participating in special projects.
Location
Our campus
is conveniently located on Monument Road,
just off Belmont Avenue and directly
across from the old site
of the Pennsylvania State Police Driver's
Examination Course.
Licenses
MSCF's
school- age day care program
is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a school- age child care program and as a private, academic elementary school for tutoring purposes.
